    I tried to post a comment to the Mission-Crash Landing entry, but it wouldn’t take. I really like the idea of missions. I downloaded The North and the crash landing mission to give it a try. It went very badly. I never played with only two Bannies, and I now see one can’t direct a laborer to cut down a lot of tress before building can begin, and how one must really micro manage. I will keep trying to get the Bannies saved.

    If you´ve never played the North before I guess it´s a real challenge. Good luck! It´s a nice little mission. Please let Smurphy rescue me. ;)

    By the way there´s another mission that´s very nice as well, also with only two people from the start but a bit more “normal” gameplay. You should try that as well.

    I never have played The North more than a short bit a few years ago. I have been avoiding snow and cold. These people freeze to death quickly! It is very hard with just two people also, even if in a more mild climate. I got the people to survive one winter, but then it came back so soon and they froze to death again just as the house was finished. I am determine to save you, Nilla!

    I have been playing these years not in The North mod, and in mild climate more for looks of my villages. So, drastic survival is new to me. I also am not doing micro managing very well.

    Where is the other mission?

    Thanks Nadrius. I still have not succeeded in this crash mission. I never played The North and the deadly freezing cold is terrible! I think I might have been rushing to get the dock repaired before stocking up with enough firewood closer to the crash site and my first house. I don’t suppose it is worth trying make tools in this mission, being as it has many steps.

    Success! You have been saved, Nilla! It took about 9 years, though. I don’t think I was very efficient. I wound up not making any tools, since it seemed too complex a thing that I don’t really know how to do in The North, so it took them a long time with their improvised tools. This was fun!

    Congratulation, I´m not sure that it´s a mistake not to make any tools; toolmaking is such a pain without tools, so making tools would have delayed everything as well even if you have experience in toolmaking.

    Yes, well done! This Lillholmen map I should update to load with North7, I think.
