Lakeland

Lakes are very typical landscape elements of the north, especially in Sweden, Finland and Canada. Lakes on these maps are huge. Building land and agriculture are limited, but there are also enough usable areas. A particular challenge is the development of the sections of land separated by waters. Of course, the lakes provide very good opportunities for fishing, a main source of food in the north. There are Lake maps with very interesting starting areas.
