The North is inhabited by brave people who survive the harsh conditions of these lands – and often do not. Their human nature makes them hungry, cold and demanding. Here are the characteristics of your banished people if you are playing in the North:

• Age in real time (one year in one year).
• Start school or become workers at age 12.
• Can marry from age 15.
• Women can have children from age 16 to 45.
• Maximum age is approximately 60 to 90 years.
• Require 100 units of food per year to avoid starvation.
• Require one coat every four years.
• Require safety, sanity, wealth, religion, and entertainment for full happiness.
• Can carry up to 100 units of weight, or up to 500 with a wheelbarrow.
